Mass failure as the Nigerian Law School releases results

The Nigerian Law School results was released in the early hours of today August 6th sadly many students failed. They estimate that about 40% of the students failed the exam, about another 45% with General Pass and 15% making First Class, Second Class Upper and Second Class Lower.
This is the second time the Law School will be turning out a large number of students with bad results but this year seems better than last year. Many of the students are devastated. But what is going on, why is this happening?
