OPC Leader Rolls On The Floor During Church Thanksgiving Service (Photos

Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) leader, Otunba Gani Adams yesterday held a church thanksgiving service to celebrate his successful installation as the 15th Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba.

Event held at the Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Model International, Alakuko, in Lagos, and Otunba Gani Adams is pictured below on the floor in total submission to God.

National Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Otunba Gani Adams was installed as the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland by Oba Lamidi Adeyemi on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

The event held at Durbar Stadium, Oyo. At his thanksgiving service yesterday, Otunba Gani Adams revealed he defeated 25 influential Yoruba people for the position and that a Senior Pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ predicted his emergence as the 15th Aare Ona kakanfo.

Adams, who said he was the least wealthy of the contestants, described his emergence as “an imposition on all of them by the Almighty God.”

The police in Niger state have arrested a suspect alleged to have been a part of religious hoodlums who vandalised a church in the state.

An 18-year old suspect, Abba Usman, who allegedly participated in the recent attack by some Muslim youths on St. Philips  Catholic Church, Suleja, Niger State, has ruled out religious extremism for his gang’s action.

Rather, the suspect, who said he hailed from Manumfachi in Katsina State, stated that some female  members of the church should be blamed for playing musical instruments so loud, dancing and making noise while a Juma’at prayer was going on at the mosque opposite the church on Friday, July 15.

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed why he will not seek vengeance against killers of Abuja preacher, Deaconess Eunice Olawale Elisha.
Forty-two-year old Mrs Elisha was hacked to death by hoodlums on June 9 at Gbazango-West area of Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory while preaching early in the morning.
She was an assistant pastor at the RCCG, Divine Touch parish, Old NEPA road, Phase 4, Kubwa, before she was slashed in the neck and stabbed in the stomach by suspected religious fanatics.

3year old girl kidnapped from Church in Surulere has been found in Ogun

Little Oluwabunmi Ajelerowho was kidnapped from her church, Surulere Baptist Church Lagos on Sunday April 19th has been found in Abeokuta, Ogun state. She was found yesterday April 20th and is now back safe with her family.
The girl was kidnapped by two men who rode on a motorcycle and pretended to be worshipers in the church. They lured the little girl with Gala as she played with her mates in the church compound while her parents were in the church worshiping.
