Presidential election results so far - APC still leading

The presidential election results for 26 states has so far been announced and right now, APC is still leading with 10,462,670 votes while PDP has 9,953,432 votes. The difference is 509,238 votes.
The election announcement will continue in about 30mins. They are on recess. We still have Sokoto, Borno, Zamfara, Kebbi, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Bauchi, Delta and Edo. Fingers crossed!

With 95% Polling Units Collated, SaharaReporters Projects Buhari As President-Elect

 SaharaReporters is confidently projecting Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of last weekend’s presidential election based on collated poll results from 95 percent of Nigeria’s polling units. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will resume the official release of the poll figures at 10 a.m. Nigerian time today, with Mr. Buhari all but certain to be declared the president-elect.

Aggrieved members of the APC took to the streets in Enugu this evening to protest the outcome of the presidential election in the state. PDP won with 553,003 votes while the APC won 14, 157 votes.

APC’s candidate threatens Yuguda’s Senate bid

The bid of the Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, to go to the Senate after his two terms as governor may be under threat as the governor, who is the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the Bauchi South Senatorial election, is trailing in the results of four local governments in the zone.
Yuguda is currently lagging behind the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the seat, Ali Wakili, in the results of four out of seven Local Government Areas in the district.
The APC candidate polled 264, 777 votes while Yuguda has garnered 89, 788 votes from the areas collated so far.
The local government areas, whose results had been collated and announced, are Bauchi, Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Toro LGAs.

The results from the remaining three local government areas of Alkaleri, Kirfi and Bogoro are still being awaited as of 7pm.

Buhari wins in Kaduna

KADUNA – General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Jonathan with a landslide victory in Kaduna State.
Collating the result Monday at INEC office Kaduna, the Presidential Election Returning Officer, Professor Ja’afaru Kaura read out the figures with APC scoring a total of 1.127, 760 votes, while PDP got 484,085 votes.
In April, 2011, Presidential elections, Buhari scored 1.33 million votes, while Jonathan got 1.19 million votes

Gen. Buhari wins in Ogun state As Jonathan Floors Buhari In Ekiti State

APC Presidential candidate, Gen Buhari has been announced the winner of the Presidential election in Ogun state. The state Collating Officer, Duro Oni, while announcing the results at the commission's secretariat in Ogun state this night said of the total 559,613 votes cast, Gen Buhari pulled 308,290 to defeat President Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who pulled 207,950.
She stated that the APC won in 13 local governments while PDP won in 7.
