A woman has caused a stir by lying completely n*ked on a giant
Christmas plate in Liverpool city centre today. The unidentified woman
was there to protest the killing of turkeys for Christmas meals as part
of a protest by PETA.
She was part of the demonstrators who stormed the Lord Street today
to persuade people to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. PETA hopes to
encourage people not to buy meat during the Christmas period, the
Liverpool ECHO reports.
PETA director Elisa Allen said: “PETA is encouraging people to
extend the holiday spirit of peace and goodwill to all by leaving
animals off their plates this Christmas.
