The final burial ceremony of music producer, singer and songwriter, OJB real name Okungbowa Jezreel Babatunde was held yesterday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel, 129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos..
The late music producer who passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 after a long term battle with Kidney disease will be buried at the Ikoyi cemetery, Ikoyi immediately after . OJB battled with kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant.
However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before his demise and OJB passed on. A Service of Songs and Tribute was held for the late singer yesterday, July 7, 2016 at O'jez event center, National Stadium, Surulere.
The event which was anchored by Okey Bakassi had in attendance some of the entertainment industry's popular faces such as: K- Solo, Essence, Rasqie, DJ Humility, KSB, Okey Bakassi, Sammie Okposo, Lara George, Azadus, Dj Boombastic, Grace Amah, Dj Gosporella, Jazzman Olofin, Daddy Showkey and Ruggedman.
