The scheduled Labour industrial action has taken off with a massive impact in the largest city in West Africa. Nigeria Labour Congress in Oyo state, have started industrial action in Ibadan the members of the Labour Union could be seen blockading a road in Beere, causing a traffic gridlock. Some members of the NLC in Ogun state are presently staging a protest in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital over the increased pump price of petrol...

This comes despite the NLC faction headed by Comr. Ajaero, pulling off from the planned nationwide strike. Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) members led by their chairman -Comrade Ayuba Philibus Wabba have staged a protest in Abuja to register their displeasure with the recent increase in the fuel price...The protesters who gathered in their numbers -were seen in their uniforms and with their flags as they moved around the metropolis.
