Camille Cosby Finally Breaks Her Silence

Camille Cosby has finally come out, although she’s two months and 19 women late. In a statement made less than a week after supermodel Beverly Johnson, who claimed the actor drugged her, Camille says her “wonderful” husband is exactly the man we thought we knew from his work while reminding us that if there’s anyone who knows Bill, it’s her.


Additionally, she takes the media to task for giving the accusers platforms and not “vetting” them before publishing and airing their stories, using Rolling Stone’s backtracking on a gang rape story they did as an example.
Over the weekend, Bill broke his silence, too. When asked how his wife was handling the recent accusations, he commented:
“Love and the strength of womanhood,” he said. “Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.”
He also expressed that he hopes that “black media” will stay neutral when it comes to coverage of the many accusers that are coming forward.
