Earlier on this year we got a taste of Isi Atagamen Fashion Label‘s take on fashion for working mothers with Ariyike Akinbobola, now the Nigerian fashion brand is here with a brand new collection – “Isimeme“.
Owned by model turned designer Isi Atagamen,
IAFL’s collection which translates as ‘Bright Future’ is birthed out of
the joy of acceptance, and the new age at logger heads with tradition.
According to the brand:
“This season’s collection is designed with the intention of showing the limitlessness of the IAFL woman. She’s comfortable with tradition whilst staying chic. With inspiration from the 30s/40s, fabric manipulations, textures, 3D appliques and a refined combination of the brand’s signature, we have the birth of “ISIMEME” (bright future)“
The collection is filled with various
hand-made African prints and fabrics including batik & aso-oke
infused fabric with organza and lace. Its dresses, jumpsuits, capes,
jackets and more pieces have a traditional appeal with new age cuts and
inserts that give a structured twist to each piece.
IAFL will also be showcasing this collection and launching a pre-sale campaign at the 3rd edition Call the Tune with Vogue Talents.
