Nigerian Hip hop artist Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector Tha Viper, has officially released the long awaited sophomore album titled "Lafiaji"
We had earlier posted the official track-list and album art tothe album which contains over 21 tracks featuring D'banj, Falz, Jesse Jagz, CDQ, Vanessa Mdee, J-Martins and a bunch of top notch acts inthe industry.
The Lafiaji album comes after State of Surprise which was released in 2010 and The Second Coming in 2012.

Congratulations!!! Small Doctor Beats Mr Eazi & Mayorkun Wins 1st Major Award In 2016

He also has a chance to get another award in what has been a good 2016 for him. Small Doctor has won his first major award in 2016 for his hit single, 'Mosquito Killer'.
The visual of the 2015 song was announced as Best Video by a New Artiste at the 2016 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA) on December 15, 2016.
He won the award ahead of Mr Eazi (Holl Up), Mayorkun (Eleko), Shobzy (Eruku) and Tycano (Eledumare).Rapper Jhybo picked up the award on his behalf at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos, where the ceremony took place.
Small Doctor meanwhile has the chance to add to his NMVA as he is up for an award at the 2016 Headies. His song, 'Gbera', is nominated in the Best Street-Hop Artiste category, which he lost to Olamide at the 2015 edition of the award.
He's finds himself nominated alongside Olamide again, with Koker, 2T Boys and Ajebutter the other nominees for this year's award.

The Russian ambassador to Turkey was tonight shot dead by an off-duty Turkish police officer at an art gallery in Ankara in an apparent 'revenge' attack at the conflict in Syria.
Ambassador Andrei Karlov, 62, was repeatedly shot in the back at close range by a gunman shouting: 'Allahu Akbar (God is Great). We die in Aleppo, you die here!' He also screamed: 'Only death will take me out of here.'
The gunman has been identified as Mevlüt Mert Altintas, 22, a member of Ankara's police riot squad, fired into the air before taking aim at the ambassador. Three others were also injured, according to local media.
Shocking footage of the attack shows Altintas, dressed in a suit and tie, pacing the gallery while brandishing a gun in one hand. The killer was shot dead after a 15-minute standoff with special forces police.
Putin has declared the assassination a 'provocation' while a Kremlin spokeswoman called it a 'terror attack'. Turkey's foreign minister tonight said the two countries would work together to investigate the killing.
The assassination follows days of protests in Turkey over Russia's role in Syria and comes just one day before the Russians are due to host Turkey and Iran's foreign ministers for talks on the evacuation of civilians from Aleppo.

Chelsea’s Costa, Kante Suspended For Bournemouth Game

Diego Costa and N'Golo Kante will miss Chelsea's Premier League game against Bournemouthon Dec. 26 after picking up their fifth bookings of the season inthe 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Costa, 28, picked up four bookings in his first six games of the season but avoided a caution in the subsequent 10 fixtures, all of which were won by Chelsea.
The Spain international is the Premier League's top goal scorer and found the back of the net forthe 13th time this season to give Chelsea a first-half lead.
Kante, meanwhile, has accumulated four bookings in his last six appearances after not being cautioned between Aug. 15 and Nov. 20.

How Greed Caused Problem Between Harrysong And Five Star Music

Harrysong was signed to KCEE's brother, E-Money's Five Star Music label where he released his biggest song till date, Reggae Blues. Also known as a writer and singer, Mr Songs left the label unceremoniously and threw shot, that most people believe was directed at his former label mate, KCee.
"Doing all these foreveryone – both Five Star and outside the platform – is not a problem for me. Sometimes it bothers me that we are beating farther than it is. What bothers me is not the work. What bothers me is the appreciation. You are helping someone but the person feels he's helping you.
"You write a song for someone and the person is telling you that if I don't sing your song, you won't blow. It's childishness. I don't know," he said inan interview with Planet TV.
This lack of appreciation is believed to be the main reason for quitting the label and starting his own record label. He also revealed that he has been responsible for writing most of the songs produced in Five Star Music.
These accusations has made many blame Five Star Music for not treating Harrysong right, however recent findings has revealed the other side of the story, which blames Harrysong's greed for the split.
According to Broadway Africa who spoke to one of the members of Five Star Music who wanted to remain anonymous, Harrysong breached his contract agreement and was making money on the side without the knowledge of the label.
According to the source, Five Star Music, had organised an European tour for Harrysong which he honoured but he organised and arranged other performances for himself outside the knowledge of Five Star Music.
The label got to know about what they view as an 'act of betrayal' but kept mute until it was time for Harrysong to shoot the video for his single, Bakana.
The label simply asked him to pay for it himself since he made money off shows that weren't recurred back to the company.
This angered Harrysong and he decided to part ways with them.
Harrysong has since launched his own record label called Alter Plate and has insisted that he has no beef with his former record label.
