Polytechnic Student Gang Raped A Student And Forced A Hammer Into Her Private Part

The Nasarawa State Police command are investigating a group of male students of the state polytechnic suspected to be cultists, after they allegedly gang-r***d a 200-Level student. It was gathered that the incident occurred shortly after the victim returned from a trip, according to report from Daily Trust The student was said to have returned to school with a lot of money and that she stayed out with the suspected rapists at a drinking joint, where “they all had a good time”. She was said to have left the group after a quarrel ensued among them.
She was however unable to gain access to her room as her roommate refused to open the door because she returned late. It was gathered that the gang, who followed her from the drinking joint, found her lying outside her room and pounced on her. One of the gang members, was said to have rushed to his room and got a hammer which he forced into her private part. Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Silas Gyar, confirmed the incident, but insisted that not all the suspected rapists are students of the polytechnic. Dr. Gyar said the management of the school acted promptly by reporting the matter to the police, who rounded up the suspects. He declined to state the number of suspects involved, insisting that doing so may affect the investigation. “I even reported to the governor after we received the report of the r**e case,” he said. He added that the management also set up a committee to investigate the matter and make recommendations. “The polytechnic will ensure that any student of the institution found to have taken part in the r**e will face disciplinary measures”, he said.
