Do you have a boring old gown you think will make two separate pieces? Then get out your needle, thread, scissors and an elastic band. We’ll perform some major DIY magic and turn these items into a crop top and a high-waist skirt:

1.  Measuring the gown

Wear your gown. Using a tape rule, measure where you want your skirt and crop top to be. Mark the spot.

2. Cutting and hemming

Remove the gown. Place on a hard surface and cut at those two points. Hem the crop top. Then attach the elastic band to the inside of your skirt, then hem.

3.  Viola! Finished product

You can now rock your gown turned crop top and high-waist skirt. You can even wear them separately with jeans, skirts and other blouses for a more sophisticated look.

The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba has released a statement on the case Following the controversy trailing the #SaveMayowa fundraising campaign.

#SaveMayowa: Mayowa Ahmed At Lagos Hospital (LUTH) Amid Scam 40 million Naira Controversy (Full Details)

A young girl named Mayowa Ahmed cried out for help earlier this month and Nigerians heard her voice.
Mayowa and her family cried out for help because she had Ovarian Cancer. She had been bedridden at LUTH for many weeks and her cancer is now beyond treatment. Her parents however went ahead to demand for funds claiming she needed a sum of $100,000 for the treatment. Nigerians have so far given her over $100,000 via Go Fund Me (around N40million) and some deposited money in Naira.
While it is true that she is battling cancer, reports from LUTH this morning are that doctors in LUTH have denied giving her family a medical report advising her to seek treatment abroad. LIB reported that the doctors have told her family that her illness is beyond treatment.
Nollywoodactress Toyin Aimakhu who spearheaded her fundraising is said to have stormed LUTH this morning with policemen. Some donors were also at the hospital. Mayowa's family home is said to be locked down following the controversy which is trailing the #SaveMayowa campaign, the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, has been flooded with Nigerians who stormed the venue to confirm the incident. Niger Delta Peace Deal: FG Finally Agree to Release Nnamdi Kanu, Okah Brothers - MEND

53-year-old pastor from Nigeria who impregnated more than 20 members of his congregation,including several married women and young girls,claiming that the Holy Spirit told him to have sex with them has been arrested for sexual abuse.
Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, a spokesman for the Enugu State Police Command told NaiJ that general overseer of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity,Pastor Timothy Ngwu, was arrested for abusing his female members.
"The pastor claims to be obeying prophetic/spiritual injunction to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the Holy Spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not," said Amaraizu.
"When the woman is delivered of the baby, the child remains in the ministry with the mother for life," he added.
According to report, Ngwu was reported
to the police by his estranged wife, Veronica Ngwu, who got tired of his lascivious behavior after he impregnated her young niece.
A brother of the pastor, who did not want to be
identified, said that he had been warning
Ngwu and his family about his behavior for a long time but he refused to listen. The arrest, he said, was God's wrath falling on his brother.
"Let me tell you, God's anger has befallen my brother, we have severally appealed to him to stop what he was doing but he refused. He has colonized our compound, bearing children with recklessness. He accused us of being jealous of him because he is doing the will of God," the brother told us.
"Look at these buildings here," he said pointing to the church compound. "He (pastor) has converted all of them to himself in the name of vineyard. I can't say exactly what informed his spirit to the devilish act in the name of God. He sacked his betrothed wife who has three children for him and embarked on impregnating married women and young girls. Look at the whole compound littered with children of
different sex and age," he lamented.
"How can an educated man of his status reason like an unrefined man? All members of the vineyard are fools, how can a woman abandon her husband for another man in the name of worshiping God and practice adultery? I cannot get myself involved in this matter; Vero has opened the vessel of worms in the
vineyard. Let them sort themselves out with the
police but I want the ministry to be shut down
completely," he added.
Ngwu told us that he has approximately five wives with 13 children along with concubines he acquired by the prophetic will of God.

FUTA & AAUA Students Arrested By EFCC For Over N16m Internet Scam

The EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, has arrested five suspected undergraduate scammers. Four from the Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA) and one from Adekunle Ajashin University, Akungba, (AAUA). They were picked up at an Off- Campus Residence located at Anuoluwapo Close, Stateline Hotel Road, off FUTA South Gate, Akure, Ondo State.
The suspects who are between the ages of 20 and 23 include: Adeleke Paul, 21, Adebiyi Tayo Abudu, 22, Akinsanmi Olusola Adeniyi 21, Ogundile Ademola James, 23 and Okali Ugochukwu, 21. The Commission got wind of their activities through series of gathered intelligence. Paul and his co-travelers, who go about with the name Tsunnami Gang and Young Pablo Money allegedly swindled unsuspecting foreigners and others to the tune of Sixteen million naira (N16M) recently by engaging in fraudulent activities of obtaining money by false pretences through scam mails. Paul is a 300 student of Building Technology while James and Olusola are both 400 level students of Agricultural Resources and Mathematics respectively. Okali is a 200 level student of Urban and Regional Planning, while Adebiyi Tayo is a 300 level Student of Mathematics of the Adekunle Ajashin University Akungba, Ondo State.
At the point of arrest, EFCC operatives recovered a 2006, black Toyota Highlander with registration number (Lagos) LND 112 EG, 2010 light- green Toyota Camry (Muscle) with registration number (Lagos) AAA 850 EF, laptops, three Apple iPhone 6 and three Blackberry phones from them. Some implicating documents were also found and downloaded from their laptops.They are to be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is completed.

Why Ogun Celestial Church Chained 9-year- old Boy For Weeks – Police, NSCDC

A nine-year-old boy who was chained in Ogun State for weeks before his rescue on Friday, was given the horrifying punishment for allegedly stealing, police and the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps have said.
The NSCDC had said in a statement on Saturday said its personnel rescued Taiwo Korede from the Celestial Church of Christ (Key of Joy Parish, Ajiwo) at Ajibawo in Ado Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State.
