OAU Freshers May Resume in May

Though, there has not been any clear evidence or an official release by the Obafemi Awolowo University management, but all fillers are moving towards the institution opening portal for freshmen's registration soon and announcing official resumption for April 24th.
Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University and its Academic Staff Union of University ASUU, have been in a state of disarray over the plan of the ASUU to go on a 56 working days break and an additional three weeks to mark examination scripts.
There are some key things, which point towards the resumption of the freshmen for April ending.
LFB, through its findings learnt that the following :
* the portal for registration of the freshmen would be opened soon;
* the Division of Student Affairs insists on the stalite leaving rooms earlier for new students to arrive;
* ASUU OAU divided over the 4-month break; and
* the University will continue with the old calendar, until new one is being drafted
Meanwhile, until the official release is being dropped, the University management will have to work with the old calendar, LFB has learnt.
We advise that all freshmen and stale students stay glue to this site to receive the update on the resumption and we also promise to release the official statement of the University here as soon as it's been dropped by the Registrar.
